The Momentum Project commenced in January 2011 and aims to:

1. Advocate for SRH and HIV integration in the operations of the Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCM) of the Global Fund and thereafter increase commitment of the CCM members towards integration in the project countries.

2. Advocate for SRH and HIV integration within Government health systems and private sectors and therefore increase funding for integration in the project countries.

These efforts involve working with key stakeholders to include – Ministries of Health, Civil Society Organizations and community representatives. All countries have established technical hubs to provide locally relevant expert input into integration efforts.
